Working on this page brought back memories of childhood days camping at the beach and us teenagers telling ghost stories (geesh...i was my son's age then *lol...muttering*). Whether around a campfire or under a darkened Hawaiian sky with the storyteller holding a solitary flashlight under chin while weaving the tale out loud, we always ended the night with chicken skin (goosebumps) and shivering in our sleeping bags. The mythology of Hawaii nei is so indelibly interwoven into our own island spirituality that the borders between fact and fiction are faded. Thus, I have highlighted the following in its own section.
